for Everyone:
The TRR-II HUD is a new utility for riding horses (or any other
creature you can imagine). Like the original Tiny Rider HUD, this
allows Tinies to ride horses designed only to work with Biggies, but it
now also works with Loco Pocos avatars. And, even normal avatars can
use it to enhance their riding experience!
Features:
- Tinies can ride creatures made for Biggies
- Loco Pocos can ride creatures made for Biggies and/or Tinies
- Biggies (you 'normal' humanoid folk) can enhance your current horse with new animations
Animations:
- Walking/Trotting animation
- Galloping animation
- Jumping animation
- Astride or Side Saddle
If you have a flat-running horse, you are in
for a treat! The rocking/galloping animation makes you feel as if
you are riding a real horse. (I spent a lot of time testing this
on the beta grid -- it was so fun, I couldn't stop!) These are
avatar animations, so they are a lot smoother and less script intensive
than horses that bob or tilt by themselves.
While you are using the TRR-II HUD to ride
your horse, your arms will still be free to move. You can wave to
your friends, drink your drink, smoke your smoke, blow kisses,
etc! Adjust your legs to fit your stirrups -- high, mid, or
low. You can also switch between riding astride and riding
sidesaddle.
Show Jumper Module:
The TRR-II HUD also has a built-in ShowJumper
module (which is also sold separately). The ShowJumper is a
simple device that lets you make jumps of differing heights, rather
than always doing the standard SL 4 meter jump all the time. Use
of the ShowJumper is fairly easy, though some practice is
required. It has three types of jumps:
- Tap the Jump key to do a normal SL 4 meter jump
- Hold the Jump key, and release it shortly after the ShowJumper turns orange to perform a short jump
- Hold the Jump key a longer time for a higher jump, up to 6.5 meters
Note: when doing the higher jumps, you want to keep the
Jump key pressed until you almost land, or else you will start to fall
and stumble. However, do not hold it TOO long, or you will
double-jump! The ShowJumper takes a bit of skill to use!
ShowJumper
The ShowJumper allows you to perform jumps of
various heights,
rather than the standard SL 4 meter jump all the time. You can do
short hops of 1.5 meters or so, or big leaps up to 6.5 meters.
There is one built in to the TRR-II HUD, or you can buy a standalone
version.
Welcome
to a new era for Tinies! Rideable horses are not just for big
people any more. Wunderbar Ranch and Lone Star Ranch both have
horses just for Tinies! Do you already have an editable biggie
horse? Make your own tiny version and use the HUD with it.
Prefer to ride a full-sized horse with your human buddies? Tiny
Rider HUD works for that, too.

on the HUD.
And why stop at horses? We now have Tiny Rideable Bugs, and Bats, and the new Pigs!

Tiny Rideable Pigs
Tiny Rideable Pig
1st Place Winner at Lummerland Show & Tell
This is an
advanced-design rideable creature; it uses THREE attachment points
(pelvis, left hip, right hip). Keep this in mind when purchasing,
and when deciding what outfits to wear with it. Willow Creek
cowboy and riding outfits are designed to leave the pelvis free.
Why 3 points? 3 reasons! First,
dividing the animal into parts allows faster link-message communication
in each part for smoother animation. Second, having the head and
neck separate from the body allows a wider ranger of animation in the
head -- your pig can look around! And third, the saddle is also
separate, allowing you to choose to ride bareback, or buy/make
different designs and customizations.
Here's the exhaustive list of the Pig's fine points:
- Leg Animations
- standard walk and run, variable fly/jump positions, random leg stomping and pawing.
- Head Animations
- looks around, grubs on the ground, eats an apple. it even bobs up and down when running!
- Animated Jaw
- opens and closes, chews.
- Eye Animations
- eyes blink, and also rotate randomly in synch to look around. 3 moods!
- Ear Animations
- ears twitch randomly, singly or both together. 3 moods!
- Moods
- aside from its normal expression, the pig can be happy or angry.
- Interaction
- YOU can make your pig happy (or angry) by interacting with
it. feed or skritch your pig, or pinch its ear, or pull its
tail! other people can interact, too!
- Wings
- yes, pigs CAN fly! you can set the wings to always on, always off, or only visible when flying (default).
- Dust (optional)
- kick up a cloud dust when running.
- Bob on Run (optional)
- bounce up and down at high speed.
- Speed Boost (optional)
- you want a faster pig? turn this on -- run
only. also with anti-cheat scripting: the pig always tells when
you turn speed boost on or off.
- Sound Effects
- hoof trotting, various grunts, oinks, and squeals, and apple-crunching goodness -- all with volume control!
- Low-Lag Mode
- turn off all the scripting extras for a lean-running
pig. even the regular timer events are slowed down in this mode
to ease sim strain and run better.
- Fully Modifyable
- not just recolourable -- you can resize your pig without
breaking the wing and ear animations (within limits; see
instructions). it also comes with a full complement of Tiny Rider
animation heights, so you can keep your pig's trotters on the
ground. plus a list of link message codes will help you create
add-ons that function with the pig's animations (some scripting skill
required).
